Hamilton Zoo includes the largest free flight aviary in New Zealand - housing species of native birds and plants, and an extensive stream and pond system.

Many species of native birds that thrive in the natural free flight environment contribute to carefully managed conservation programmes, designed to help New Zealand’s unique and endangered bird life.
