Hamilton Zoo cares for over 600 exotic and native animals, 365 days a year. We're involved in conservation projects inside and outside the zoo, international breeding programmes and environmental management.
We also provide a recreational resource for local residents and visitors. Over 120,000 visitors come to the zoo each year, of which 7000 students visit us to learn about the natural world and to experience wildlife.
